OK Plant Identification
Given a speciman, this site offers guides in the form
of images of bark, stems, fruit and other diagnostic
characteristics. Search can be made by common name or
Genus.

World Wide Flowering Plant Family Identification
This site belongs to Colby University, located in Maine
and does good work, if you understand terms like
venation, inflorescences, sympodial, and a few more.
Identification is down to the Family level. From there on
it is a cinch. Much easier than it sounds.

A Weed Identification Web Site
This site is about weeds found in New Jersey, but
they seem to have many of the same weeds found in
Oklahoma. Weeds seem to be equal opportunity growers.
Search can be done by Common Name, Latin Name, and
Thumbnails. For dummies like me the thumbnails are
the way to go.

The International Plant Index
The International Plant Names Index is a database of the names and
associated basic bibliographical details of all seed plants, ferns and
fern allies. In addition to searching plant names, you can search
authors and publications.

National Plants Database
Natural Resources Conservation Service provides this
plant database of standardized information about the vascularplants,
mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S.
and its territories. There are plant profiles, plant images and
distribution by state with other related information about each plant.

The HortiPlex database contains plant images and data as well as links
to information sources, images and vendors at other sites. Searches may be
limited to: just those records with images or links to images; records with
vendor links; or, records of botanical taxa.

Diagnostic Keys to Major Tree Fruit Diseases in the Mid-Atlantic Region
Alhough developed for
the Mid-Atlantic Region this site provides diagnostic keys for deciduous
tree fruit diseases to aid field personnel in the identification of diseases.
The keys are arranged to guide the user through a series of logically
arranged statements describing symptoms and signs of fruit tree diseases.
There are images of insects and diseases to aid in identification.
